Outlaws Game 06/16/12

For those of you that had signed up for the Outlaws game on Saturday 06/16/12, Pomona Music Boosters was not awarded that game.

 

We are still waiting to here if we were awarded the game on July 14th.

Unsubscribe Requests

Good Morning Band Folks...

I have seen several requests recently from people requesting "Please remove me from the Google Group" for various reasons.  The beauty of this group is that you, yourself, can remove your email address at any time from the group.  In the past, one person was forced to be the "gatekeeper", and the task of managing 200+ various email addresses was rather daunting to say the least.  I myself was unaware myself on how to remove an email address from a Google Group so I did a search and found the following.  I have embedded the link I found for anyone looking for the removal procedures.

Band Camp tomorrow

New Member camp is from 9 – 12 tomorrow in the band room at Pomona.  Please drop your kids at the band room on the east side of the school.

 

All members camp is from 1 – 4 PM tomorrow.

 

PARENTS….

 

Please join us at 9 AM to discuss summer plans for cleaning and organizing!  We have our work cut out for us and your help will be greatly appreciated!

 

Make sure your child has LOTS of water, a hat, sunscreen, good shoes and lunch!  Not to mention a smile!

New Band Director!

Hi Band Families!

 

I am excited to announce that Rishona Hatcher has accepted the position as Band Director for Pomona High School!

 

She will be joining us from Long Beach California where she just completed her Masters of Music Performance in Instrumental Conducting at California State University-Long Beach.

 

As of today, we do not know the date of her relocating to Colorado but do anticipate she will be here as soon as possible. 

 

The committee’s decision to offer Ms. Hatcher the position was 100% unanimous!  She will bring energy, excitement and musical expertise to our program.

 

Please join me in welcoming her to our GREAT Pomona community!
